My Life Today

Presently, my life today consists of two main things work and school. I work as a server at the Hamburg Casino. I have been there since June. I also went back to school this past fall at Erie Community College. I am majoring in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
I am also invoved in an organization called Danceability. I started working there in June 2009 and I am currently volunteering there on Tuesday nights. This is something I truely enjoy because it combines my love of dance with my passion for helping people.

Some Important Individuals in My Life
My Grandma
My grandma is a woman I truely admire. Not only has she always been there for me, but she has overcome numerous obstacles in her life. It could not have been easy raising 5 kids on your own, let alone doing it while being blind.
My Mom and Dad
Even though my mom passed away when I was 14, I still believe she is always with me and watching over. I try to do my best to make her proud. My relationship with my dad has not always been the best especially through my teenage years. However, as I have gotten older I have come to appreciate all he did and still does for me. I could not be the person I am today without him.
Larell
Larell and I have been dating for 5 years. I feel my relationship with Larell can be sumed up in this quote: "A true friend is someone who knows you, but likes you anyways". We have been through alot together and he has seen me at my worst and he has always stood by me.
Candela
Larell and I adopted Candela when she was just 2 months from the SPCA. She is now 3 years old and definitely has a mind of her own.
